I adore Brussels sprouts. I always feel like they are the most misunderstood vegetable! Yum yum yum (I’m not being very eloquent at the moment but it is very late at night so all I can muster is a childish descriptive!) xx

Yes! I can’t believe it took me until well into my 20s to come around to brussels, but I’d never had them roasted before, and apparently the bitter receptors on our tongues develop last.
As for your yum yums, as I tell my students, I don’t think you have to be fancy with your language, especially when you are communicating an important point or something you feel strongly about. Brussels = yum is SUCH an important point! Makes sense to me!
